I’m Brad Wakefield - a photographer, mountain biker, and punk rock fan based in Somerset. I’m drawn to assignments with  adventure, whether it’s freezing on a mountainside or diving with sharks, I love gearing up and getting stuck in. I’ll go anywhere.

I’ve been shooting for two decades. I’ve leant out of helicopters with the doors off, photographed the biggest bands at Glastonbury, and embedded with the Royal Navy aboard a nuclear submarine. I’ve worked with The Sunday Times, EDF, and a wide mix of brands, agencies, and private clients.

I love the challenge and reward of photographing in the water, be that in the sea or in a swimming pool, shooting in the water is a great way of really showing people behind the curtain of what is sometimes considered to be a hostile or unknown environment.
